IGC came about because I have 3 kids and a digital camera. My web
site was falling behind and, as you can tell from this web site, I
hate doing web site work :-).
So I wanted a way to be able to recreate my web pages quickly when
I added more images to the directory. With IGC you can do just
that or you can take a bit more time and add a description to each
image if you like. IGC allows you to add CSS/Text sections and
java scripts it just depends on how much effort you want to put
into it. You can create very simple galleries very
quickly or you can take some time and imagination and create
very custom galleries.
There are other gallery creators out there but most didn't do what
I wanted them to do, or had too much, so I decided to create one
of my own.
I have included three examples
that were created with IGC. They include some java scripts. These
scripts are not added later but are added when you hit the create
pages button. So once you have your configuration setup you can
make small changes and tweak the appearance of your galleries very
quickly.
The examples are UGLY. I used different colors on most of the
examples to show the flexibility you have with IGC.
These are the examples that come with IGC so the help link in the
examples will not work on the web.
