Character History
Born in California in 1967 to Paul and Rebecca Morris, he was
given the name Sunbeam. He grew up resenting his parents, and when he
graduated, he left for design school in New York. He changed his name to
John not long after his move to New York. His work in interior design
quickly took him to the top of his class, and when he graduated in 1989 he
was offered a job by a company in England. He was there for about three
months before his employer made him an offer. She said, "How would you like
to be able to enjoy the beauty of your creations forever?" To this John
answered yes. It was then that the woman Eppie took him in his arms, and
began the embrace. But she was did not complete it. Her sire, Ethan Bishop,
completed the embrace. He had seen talent in the work of John Morris, and
wanted that talent preserved. Ethan left before John woke up, and Eppie
explained the ways of the Camarilla and kindred society to him. It was then
that he changed his name to Benedict, and has spent the last ten years
traveling around, designing rooms, and eventually buildings, for the rich
and undead. In 1995 he was in Italy to do a job for a newer kindred and he
arrived to find the body in torpor. Curious about power, he diablerized the
body, and felt his own power increase. However, it did not aleviate his thin
blood, so he is just waiting for a chance to try again. Recently he has
settled here in Texas, where he met Devant, and was brought into the family.
