Submarine News
After a first disasterous game against the Sooners, the Mellow Yellow Submarines are back on track. After the ugly loss against the sooners, I am proud to announce that the Submarines bounced right back to defeat the Beavers 2-0 in the last couple innings. This puts the Submarines at .500 on the season with a record of 1-1. The teams captian, David Bloom, after the stunning victory last Thursday, said, "We dont play those games, Beavers." Some outstanding athletes were Neol Luna, who struck out the first three batters in the first inning and Josh Kirkpatrick, who had the game winning two RBI shot to the fence.

On Thursday of last week, Billy McElroy came in at the end of the game with 2 men in scoring position and a man at first. With no outs the tieing runner was anticipating is way home. Talk about pressure! Billy some how fought through this pressure to strike out Richard Ramos then turning it into a double play by getting the runner at third. He then struck out Austin Bridges for the win.
