So, what's happened since March 03..let's see, two Power Tours, new aluminum radiator and trans cooler, countless runs at the track (the best a 9.35 in 1/8th), new back tires, new boxes for the subs, and the interior is pretty much finished. I'll get some more pics up here eventually, until then check out Power Tour 03..

March 15, 2003 -May 5, 2002 -April 3, 2002 -March 2, 2002 - February 17, 2002 - December 2001

Alright, first off, its a 1963 Chevy C10 (obviously) Short-wide bed, taken down to the bare frame and rebuilt over 4 years.  Here's some specs, plans, and all that kind of good stuff-

Drivetrain (Version 1.0..upgrade in progress)-
-Engine-1991 Vortec 350, fully rebuilt, about 9.0 to 1, little bit of a cam (don't have the specifics), Weiand Intake and 650 Edelbrock. All black with silver powdercoated intake and pulleys, silver painted air cleaner top/base. Not a whole lot, but enough to be fun. A 377 or 383 is up next..

-Transmission & Rear End-700-R4 from a 1983 Chevy Diesel-completely rebuilt, Factory 12 bolt housing, with 3.73 gears and 5 lug axles from later model 12 bolt. When/If an engine change occurs, it will get a 9 inch Ford with a posi.

Suspension -
-Front: Stock coils, Chassis Tech 2.5" lowering spindles, steering upgraded to 1973 Chevy power steering, Wilwood aluminum manual master cylinder, Big End products adjustable proportioning valve
-Rear: Stock coils, 2" lowering blocks

Exterior-
-Bodywork done-Replaced Both lower rear cab corners, fixed enormous rust hole in roof over windsheild, driver's side rear quarter replaced, gas filler shaved from cab (tank's under the bed now), roll pan welded in.

-Paint-2000 Dodge Driftwood base-clear (basically a very metallic, somewhat color-changing silver, see pictures).

-Wheels and Tires-16x8 American Racing Bajas with 225/50 Falken ZE-502s up front, and massive 255/55 Kumho Ecsta STXs out back. Had Falkens (can't beat 'em at the track) all around but the back ones didn't last as long as the fronts...funny how that happens.

-Custom touches-Full polished stainless and custom A/C lines under the hood, done at my Dad's shop, Acme Auto Parts, LED's in the turn signals up front, Chevy Duty Steel rollpan with boxed license plate.

Interior-

-Steering Column & Wheel-1982 Chevy S-10 Column with tilt, Grant Challenger Steering wheel.

-Seats-dark gray 1999 Hyundai (yes, i said Hyundai) Tiburon buckets on custom mounts.

-Console-Hand built console made from 3/4" plywood covered in vinyl coming down from dash between seats, housing a B&M Hammer shifter

-Stereo-Sony Xplod CD player (cdx-ca750x), 2 3-way 6x9's, Lightning Audio 4 channel amp powering 2 10" Lightning Audio Subs in sealed boxes. It really needs two more full-range speakers to be complete, but that's low on the priority list.

Most of the replacement parts we bought so far, including bed wood and hardware, weatherstripping, and patch panels came from Chevy Duty.

Heh, that's what I wanted it to look like back so long ago..still feels weird seeing it in real life.
