Repair and Revision Surgery Journal

Why do I need to have a repair and revision surgery?

I had Lap RNY Gastric Bypass Surgery (Proximal) in 6/2002 and was very successful. I lost all of my weight and made it to goal. I had all of my reconstructive surgeries approved by insurance. I was thin for more than six years and due to a gastro gastric fistula I have gained some weight back. I am now scheduled for a repair of my gastro gastric fistula and revision of Gastric Bypass Surgery from Proximal to Distal (ERNY - common channel will be 90-100) on October 9, 2009 at 11:00 am.

Due to the fact that after the first surgery I always ate healthy and followed the rules (Protein first, drink maximum amount of water daily,no sugar or carbonated drinks, waiting to eat after drinking, taking my vitamins, and exercising) I have to doubt that I will be successful this time around as well.

This page and my blog listed below will detail all of that I had and have to go through in order to get my health and my life back on track.
