December 5, 2002-had my two week old checkup today. I weighed exactly 9 pounds, and am 21 1/2 inches long! Doctor said I am a very good and sweet baby. They stuck me though, for the newborn blood screen and I cried a lot. The doctor also found thrush in my mouth, and some yeast in my diaper area, so they put this deep purple colored medicine on it that stains stuff. So I currently have a purple tongue and bottom. Mommy thinks it's pretty funny. I go back again at four weeks old.
December 17, 2002- four week check up today, although I am technically not four weeks old yet. I weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces, and was up to 22 inches long. Doctor said I am growing well, and look great! Don't have to go back again until two months old.
