Our daughter Jay, just 16, with a lovely smile :-) Now she
is 21 and still smiling.
Here is another one of her Poems
:
Weeping
Willow
By Jay Taylor
What shall I call this tree that knows all my fears,
Singing it's song for someone to hear,
Making me laugh holding my memories near.
With it's branches almost touching the ground,
like an umbrella canopying all around.
What shall I call this tree that feels my pain,
every time in depression it keeps me sane.
Always giving me hope and making me dream,
taking my nightmares washing them away in the stream.
Enclosing me under it's swaying limbs,
weeping together until my fury dims.
You are so strong and have so much will,
weeping my song by the stream on the hill.
What shall I call this tree who's touch is as soft as a pillow,
How shall I call my weeping willow?
