Thanks for Your Input
Hey guys, this
is going to be an awesome semester! I love how the web page turned out.
I'm glad to hear some of you are using it. Please check back here often
for new things and information.
If any of you like
Enya. I found this really nice tribute to the World Trade Center. If you
click on either of the US flag ribbons you can listen to an mp3 of the
Enya's "Only Time" WTC remix. If you have the new Internet Explorer 6.0,
the mp3 will play in your browser. It's cool!
get Internet Explorer 6.0
Let me know if there are any bugs
getting the mp3 started. I've never embedded one before.
I have added
some links to the Helpful Links section.
I have had an excellent suggestion to start a floor council. Look for some
more information on that in the near future. Check out the
Forum for input about the floor council. I haven't
had enough time to look for off campus housing info. If any of you can
help me find information on off campus housing or even for the residence
halls next semester, I would greatly appreciate it.
I had another thought
for a program. Many of us are in J. Kaplan's class this semester. How
would you like to eat dinner with him at BJ's, Old Chicago, or
another restaurant that isn't too expensive and appealing? Another RA did
this last semester. J. Kaplan is awesome and we all had fun! It was a
great program and I think you'll like it. Tell me what you think in the
Forum. Don't forget to keep up to date with the
current events! That's one reason why I have News links.
Just in case any of you missed the first
letter for the Arnett Underground, here's a link to read it:
Welcome to the
Arnett Underground
Thanks again for everything. I'm very
proud of you!

Suicide
Click Picture
As many
of you are aware, there was a suicide in Kitt West recently. I encourage
all of you to educate yourselves about suicide. Getting to know the
warning signs and how to deal with someone who may be suicidal may save a
life.
You may have seen people around
campus and Kittridge wearing yellow ribbons in memory of the girl who
passed away. You can find yellow ribbons at the front office and in front
of the dinning hall. Click on the yellow ribbon to find out how the Yellow
Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program Started or click on the link below to
learn more about suicide and gain access to numbers to get help. Remember,
all the staff members are here to help you. The most important thing is
that you talk to someone.
