Finally another game that takes advantage of the PS@'s graphical power. This game looks and moves gorgeously and almost flawlessly. There are a variety of characters to play and unlock with, each doing a funny little animation. The design of the characters is a funny retro 70's look that is pleasing. This game is like Doom, Unreal, and Quake. That should give you and idea of it.
The games single player mode actually has missions like goldeneye and Perfect Dark and while simple, usually get an item ang escape, they actually make unlocking characters fun. But the reason why you brought it was because of the multiplayer mode right? Well rest assured, this game delivers in that aspect as well. Just make sure you know you will probably die a lot. Nice sized arenas make this a actual fun mode.
Well the question is this game or Unreal? My pick is this one all the way. It is fun with plenty of characters, and the addition of the single player story mode ctapults this over its competition. A great game.
