This game is really just Hot Shots Golf with a graphical upgrade and diffrent characters.This is not really a bad thing because they are using a tried and true formula. The engine is easy and fun to learn.
There are quite a few options such as picking a caddie who give you advice on each shot. The best part is that they talk so instead of having to mash buttons to close a dialogue box, you can just swing while they talk. This saves a lot of time.However they can sometimes cost you a stroke because they have a tendency to pick the wrong clubs at times. You can easily switch though so it is just a minor problem if anything.
Overall you will like this game if you are a golf fan or if you like HSG.This should warrant a purchase if anything.There are some minor problems that warrant this from getting higher. First of all I do not like the characters at all. They all look awkward and stupid at times. Also the load times between your shots and the computers are annoying. The last complaint would be my disgust of the animations on the bottom left of the screen. This has both of the characters heads that are playing at the time. The person that is going shakes their head as if they are laughing. This looks extremely annoying after a while. However the game is still good and you will find yourself addicted to Hot Shots...er Swing Away Golf in no time.
