My friends, I have felt so alone at times. No one around to accept me as I am. I had too many people to tell me what I am and what I can aspire to, yet no one to hold me, no one to love me and no one to appreciate my own strange uniqueness.
But when a man on earth just can't be found.... I turn to God.
I have always believed in God since I was a little girl. There came a time when God layed it upon my heart that it was not enough to believe.
It was not enough to pray. In order to follow behind him, I had to walk behind him.
I had to surrender all my self will and self planned destiny,(which was really quite elaborately planned).
I had to give my future to God for his use and his purpose, and obey God's word and not my wildest imaginations. Little did I know, God would give me my dreams, as he had planted the desires in my heart.
This is the hardest thing I have ever done, as it's so easy to be the old me, self willed, self centered, selfish...
I thought in my way so busy schedule, how could I possibly put God first? (....above the kids, the husband, the career, the housework and my gardening.) God was about fifth on my list.
Through trial, I found that by seeking him first, all the pieces of the puzzle fit together. By always making time for him, he always makes time for me. I made better use of my time to fit all in, with devotion to God as my first priority.
Only God is able to meet our deepest needs for acceptance, identity, security and purpose. I stopped trying to get people to meet them as I was always disappointed. I didn't realize, they were not designed to meet those deepest needs that only God can fill.
In order to enjoy the abundance of blessings God has predestined for us (before the foundation of the world, when he created us holy and without blame, when he promised us love and eternal life), we must obey his words he left us. Gary Bussey described the Bible as God's "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth".
"Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee.".....Deuteronomy 4.36
That means we read his word daily, and pray several times a day, always open to his spirit's direction.
I had my bible by my bed, but I never had time to read it. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."....Psalms 119.105
No wonder I never knew where I was going. I felt as if I was always wandering around in the dark. What good is a warrior's sword if he doesn't use it. ("....The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God."....Ephesians6.17)
As we learn to follow him, we will also learn to recognize his voice. We are open to receive his holy spirit as our guide and praise his name in thanksgiving all of the time.
Although it's the path least chosen, (facing this issue and take responsibility for our destiny,) the rewards are more than wonderful to enjoy right now!
Call upon the name of Jesus. He has been waiting a long time for you to open the door of your heart. Either you believe, or you don't.
Look around and see the supernatural phenomenon occurring every day around you. It's God at work.

Jesus said in Matthew 11.28 "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
If you are being led by your spirit to experience a personal relationship, a intimate relationship, a life long committment to the Holy Trinity, just ask God through prayer right now.

The Lord's Prayer
