This is the indy show i promised you if you read my last rant. This is CZW, the most hardcore fed in USA and they have a working relationship with Big Japan, who are kings of the deathmatches. They have alot of great, young high flyers and alot of hardcore sickos. I'm not a big fan of garbage matches, but lets get on to the show.
-Vice President Robbie Mireno comes down and makes fun of the fans, not sure why though.
-Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy-
Both men need no introduction. Both wrestlers go to shake the hat guy's hand, who must be finding alternatives to ECW. Tajir starts off w/ an armdrag, but Crazy comes back with a takedown and an ankle lock. Has Crazy been watching UFC? Head scissors takedown by Tajiri gets him a near fall, but Crazy comes back with a snapmare and a rollup for a two count. The Jappanese buzzsaw hits an armdrag, dropteohold, stf, and then the handspring elbow, which Crazy outside. Crazy misses a plancha on the outside, as tey go back into the ring. Crazy gets a sunset flip in the corner for a near fall, but goes for a fireman's carry which reversed by Tajiri into a schoolboy for a two count. Crazy comes back with his signature moonsaults, only to have "Sick" Nick Mondo intefer right before the third for the dq 5:20 ** Too short to mean anything, as they were just getting warmed up when it ended. Nick Mondo, who is facing Crazy & Ric Blade tonite, looks like he's psycho and gets taken out by Tajiri. Ric Blade comes down and reverse powerbombs Mondo. Then Super Crazy attacks Ric Blade, but Blade cleans house.
-Elimination: Jon Dahmer vs. "Fast" Eddie Valentine vs. Jeff Rocker-
Jon Dahmer is pretty large and looks like he's been on the indy circuit for a while, he also has a fat valet named Natasha and heel manager Pastor Jim. Eddie Valetine looks like Tony Stetson, thats not a good thing, and Rocker is very built under his small frame. Dahmer hits a dropkick on both men, but Valentine comes back with a boot on Damher. They do a nice triple team belly-back suplex spot, allowing Rocker & Valetine to both get two counts on Dahmer. Jeff Rocker applies a hanging Boston crab on Valentine, letting Dahmer drop the leg on Valetine for a near fall. Jon Dahmer is thrown outside and Eddie Valetine hits a crazy looking planch on Dahmer that almost completely misses him. Valetine & Dahmer hit the backbeaker/leg drop combo for a near fall on Jeff Rocker. Dahmer hits a fisherman's suplex on Valentine and puts him on Rocker's shoulders, allowing Dahmer to dropkick him off the top rope. Valentine comes back with a fireman's carry into an atomic drop on Jeff Rocker, but gets nailed by Dahmer's spinebuster for a near fall. Jeff Rocker hits a firman's carry into a stunner on Jon Dahmer and Eddie Valetine hits a pumphandle belly-back suplex. Jon Dahmer hits pumphandle arosion, pumphandle into snow plow, but Barr Can Man comes down to ringside. He looks like a bartender and accidently hits Valetine. Jeff Rocker hits a belly-back on Valetine and then rollups Dahmer for the 3 count at 6:15. Jeff Rocker then finishes off Eddie Valentine with a fisherman's suplex at 6: 42 * This was there and didn't suck or anything. Jeff Rocker looked very good, but the othere two were only okay.
-Pasto Jim comes down to host his show, along with carper and tables in the ring. He has Jeff Rocker on the show, but Trent Acid comes in and says they need a real superstar. Acid looks a lot like Jeff Hardy, only a little bigger. Acid has a masked lackie name Z-Barr with him. Acid says tonite he'll take on his former tag partner Nick Berk, but he'll only give him ten minutes. Pretty good segment to gt Trent Acid over.
-Rockin Rebel vs. Ruckus-
Rebel has some followers with him carrying KFC chicken and bisquick, as he is a rascist and makes fun of the crowd with soem curse words. He continues to come up with cutdowns, as I was thinking it was ametur night at a Comedy Club. Ruckus looks like Mark Henry, only 100 lbs lighter. Ruckus reverses a suplex attempt into a backflip and hits a dropkick. Handspring moonsault by Ruckus on Rebel on the outside. They brawl in the crowd, with Ruckus jumping off the wall and hitting a kick. Ruckus hits two back handspring and a standing moonsault on the floor. Ruckus is dope, especially considering he's so big. Rebel comes back with a chair shot, plancha and clothesline from the apron to the floor. -Red & Joel Maximo vs. Brisco Brothers-
Red & Joel Maximo are trained by Mikey Whipwreck, one having Red hair. The Briscos are identical looking Holocaust victims with heel manager Dewey Donovan, no kidding. They just look very thin and white, with no hair, and not attractive. Red stars with lets say Brisco #1. Drop toe hold and headlock by Red, as both men reverse arm bars. Red goes up top, but gets dropkicked onto his partner on the outside. Joel Maximo is tagged in and a tag to Brisco #2. Double team Rockbottom by the Briscos and #2 hits a tope on the outside. Not to be out done, #1 hits a somersault senton on the outside. Joel Maximo superkicks #2 after he attempts a springboard and hits a clothesline. Red is tagged in and Whipwreck's students hit a double team spinebuster and legdrop/splash combo on #2. Power slam by Red on #2 for a near fall and a tag to Joel Maximo. Double team belly-back/leg drop gets a near fall for the Briscos. Another tag to Red and a double team suplex. Joel Maximo gets croched up top and #2 hits a hurricarranna. Spinning heel kick and splash by Red gets a near fall. #2 attempts a snset flip, but is kicked in the face by Red. A tag to Maximo, as Red hits a spinning kick in the corner. Red hits a beautiful springboard corkscrew moonsaul and then a stading moonsault, which would have ended it but Dewey breaks it up. #1 gets the hot tag and cleans house. The Briscos screw up a Total Elimination attempt, which is the best tag team finisher in the buisness. #1 hits a sitout powerbomb after Dewey interfers and #2 hits a picture perfect moonsault for the 1-2-3. 8:17 ** Very good match. Whipwreck's students are great. After the match the Briscos are mad that Dewey helped them win.
-Ladder Match: Super Crazy vs. Nick Mondo vs. Ric Blade-
Super Crazy hits a moonsault to start on both men. In a nice spot, Crazy hits a German suplex on Blade while Mondo hits a sunset flip on Blade. Nick Mondo hits a somersault plancha on the outside on Ric Blade, but Crazy shows him up with a springboard moonsault. Ric Blade hits a springboard tumbleweed legdrop and a handsrping kick on Mondo. Crazy catches Blade upside down and Mondo drop kicks him with a chair. Super Crazy then moonsaults Ric Blade. A lader si brought in the ring and Blade hits a Samoan drop and a stadning moonsault for a near fall on Super Crazy. Ric Blade goes for a tornado ddt on the ladder, but Mondo reverses it into a spinebuster on the ladder. Crazy hits a moonsault on Blade on the ladder, but Mondo nails Crazy with a springboard tumbleweed leg drop on the ladder during the pinfall. Great stuff. Mondo gets a two count out of that. Both men then pin Mondo to end the match. 10:22 **1/2 Great spotfest. After Mondo challenges Blade to a barbed wire ladder match on 2/17/00
-10-Minute Challenge: Trent Acid vs. Nick Berk-
Slugfest to start, as they go outside. Nick Berk hits Acid with a chair. Acid hits a moonsault off the wall on Nick Berk. Back in the ring, Berk hits a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor. Nick Berk hits a somersault plancha on Acid on the outside. Back in the ring Acid catches a tip-up attempt in the corner by Berk and tosses him outside. Acid hits a moonsault press on the outside. Acid attempts a suplex on chairs, but Ber reverses it into a reverse suplex onto the chairs. Trent Acid hits a roaring elbow with a chair, but gets thrown onto chairs in the ring. The referee moves the chairs, allowing Berk to hit a frog splash for a near fall. Fall away northen lights uplex by Acid gets him a near fall. Acid gets thrown into the crowd from up top. They fiht in the crowd and Tretn Acid acid bombs Berk through a table, which looking a lot like a powerbomb/acid drop combo. Trent Acid gets 2 3/4 in the ring, as the 10 minutes have all ready gone by in my book. Acid goes for an acid bomb, but Berk reverses into the Berk Driver, Chris Chetti's Amnyville Horror, but time runs out @ 12:23. They decide to give the men 5 more minutes, thank you. Rollups by Berk get him a near fall and a small package gets 2 3/4. Sunset flip by Acid and a a backslide both get him 2 3/4. Nick Berk hits a German suplex for a near fall. Victory roll from the top rope gets Acid a near fall, along with a northen lights suplex. An atomic drop by Berk causes a ref bump, so Z-Barr hits a pedigree on a chair on Berk. Springboard tumbleweed leg drp gets the 1-2-3 for Trent Acid at 2:54 of the restart. 14:17 **3/4 A little spot fest at first, but the last 3 minutes were awesome technical wrestling.
-Royal Rumble match for CZW Iron Man Championship-
This is the hardcore championship. Lobo & Nick Hatred, who looks like Glen Osbourne come out first. Back body drop and swinging neckbreacker by Lobo. Lobo hits a pumphandle belly-back suplex, but Hatred comes back with a nasty looking tilt-a-whirl slam that lands Lobo on his head. Wifebeather, the Iron Man champion, comes out next and messes up a leap frog. Hatred russian leg sweeps Wifebeater, who is vert built and just looks like a heel. The suprise opponent is Lord Everett Devore, a fat ass Steven Regal impersonator. Nick Hatred hits a powerslam on Devore. The CZW Champion Justice Pain comes out and says he has a suprise of his own, Mad Man Pondo, trying to outdue booker Zandig's suprise of Devore. Pondo is a white New Jack to say the least. Pondo cleans house with a stop sign and then staples a dollar bill to Wifebeater's forehead. Everyone is bleeding now excpet Pondo and Pondo staples Lobo in the groin. Wifebeater tosses Hatred onto chairs on the floor and beats him with a barbed wire trash can. Snap suplex by Wifebeater on Lobo in the first wrestling move in a while. Wifebeater suplexes Pondo out of the ring into chairs on the floor in a cool spot. Lobo & Wifebeater fight toward the belt, which is at the top of this tower, which has to be taken down to win. Lobo gets the belt and become the new CZW Iron Man Championship, but Wifebeater throws him down atleast 15 feet into flaming barbed wire tabes. Oh My God! 12:33 * Mostly a dissapointing garbage match w/ a few good bumps. They beat up Lobo until Nick Gage makes the save. He then beats up Lobo and they fight to the back. Most of these men also wrestle in Big Japan, so you might ant to check that out.
-Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Justice Pain-
Pain is the CZW Champ, a member of H8 Club with Wifebeater, and looks a little like Lash Leroux. This is a non-title match. Pain gets green mist to the face after missing a spinning heel kick. They brawl outside and Tajiri nails a superkick. Back in the ring Tajiri hits a hotshot and two boots to the face. Pain hits a weird looking Blockbuster for a near fall. A superkick sends Tajiri outside. Pain nearly misses Tajiri with a corkscrew plancha, as they brawl in the crowd again. They mess up an irish whip, but Pain regains his composure and reverses a handspring elbow into a German suplex. Tajir hits the lethal kicks and brainbuster. Tajir sets Pain up for the double stomp through the table, but Wifebeater runs in for the dq. 8:54 *3/4 Nothing special, as lot of this was a brawl that isn't Tajiri's style. Mikey Whipwreck makes the save and gives Pain a hurricarranna thrugh the table. The former ECW Tag Team Champions double kick Wifebeater. A video then airs on the wall, as Zanding signs Balls Mahoney & Mikey Whipwreck vs. Justice Pain & Wifebeater for next week. This turned into Balls Mahoney vs. Wifebeater after Whipwreck no-showed the 2/17 show, because of a family emergency. The teams brawl to end the show.
-Final Thoughts: Great show, nothing sucked, and we got 2 very good matches. Alot of this talent is excellent. I recommend this tape.
