We used to be best friends. Then everything changed....
.....It was the summer after our junior year in high school. Things were going great. I had a boyfriend and the world's greatest best friend. Then one day I go online and I read this email. It was one of those online surveys. Well on the question that said who do you trust most. She put "Used to be ashely but she'd prolly tell vic so maybe Heather or Piper."
.....I felt betrayed. So, that whole summer i didn't speak not one word to her. It was horrible. I missed her so much, but i refused to ever speak to her again. I guess this doesn't seem that much to you but you don't understand our history.
.....I met Peri 4 yrs. ago on the first day of school in 8th grade. I didn't have anyone to sit with in Home Ec. Then i see this girl who i kind of reconized and I asked her to sit with me. From that day on, we were friends. By the time High School started, no one could separate us. As the years went by, we just got closer and closer. Some peeple even thought we were lesbians.
.....Then Junior year started. It was great. For the first time we had a lot of classes together, but we started to separate. It wasn't that noticable, but we were changing. Once i got my boyfriend and we became really serious things really started to change. I started hanging around him more and we just weren't as close. We had started hanging around each other alot again, but once that survey thing happened the friendship went down the drain.
.....I cherish all of my memories with Peri. Peri and I do get along now. We're friends. I love talking to her b/c she's a really cool person. We aren't as close as we used to be, but I'm just glad we're friends again. Thanks for all of the fun and laughter girlie. I love you. I hope life finally works out for you.
