Epilogue
 

3 Years Later

Nick- "Hey you, how are my girls doing" He said quietly as he entered the master bedroom and approached his wife. Paige sat in an over stuffed armchair with their one-month-old daughter sleeping in her arms. Nick knelt down next to her and kissed his lovely child on the top of her head.

Paige- "She just finished eating, she'll be out for a while."

Nick- "Good, cause today you made me a promise. And I'm holding you to it."

Paige- "I know, I know. I can't believe you even remembered that after all these years."

Nick- "Well, the day I found the file I wanted to know what it was. But you had it passworded."

Paige- "I gave it a password cause I knew you would find it, it was on your lap top. I didn't want you to read it until the time was right."  Paige slowly got up and placed their little Heather in her bassinet. She stared down at her daughter as Nick came up behind her and put his arms around her waist from behind. He kissed the side of her neck and hugged her close as they watched Heather fall into deeper sleep.

Nick- "Come baby, you promised." He said as he started to drag Paige backwards to the computer. She giggled as Nick sat her in the chair and turned everything on. Paige went to her personal files and down to the one Nick had been referring to.

Paige- "Ok, do you remember my untitled story? You know, the one that you read and tracked me down with?"

Nick- "How could I forget, I thank god for it everyday of my life." He said as he kissed her cheek.

Paige- "Well, that first night that we met I found that story on your lap top. You were still sleeping so you never knew. I sat there looking at you for a while, thinking back to everything that had happened in those couple of weeks. Before I knew it, I came up with this." She typed in the password and hit enter. On the screen was a story. A Prologue, and 10 chapters were listed under the title "I Knew I Loved You" She turned her head and glanced at Nick.

Paige- "My story now has a title."

Nick- "And you wrote more to it."

Paige- "I wrote everything into it, right from the very first e-mail you wrote me, and up to the night we made love for the first time. Now, I get to add the Epilogue to it." She clicked on 'New Document' and placed her fingers on the keyboard.

Nick- "Oh no you don't." He grabbed her hands and removed them.

Paige- "What's wrong?"

Nick- "First, I want to read the story, relive it on the screen." He stood up, taking Paige with him and putting his arms around her waist.

Nick- "Then I want to relive the making love part with you for real. I want to do it all over again." Paige smiled and put her arms around his neck. Nick bent his head and captured her lips, gripping her body to his as he sat them down in the chair. He clicked on the Prologue and began reading.
