Chapter 4

Tina- "Paige! Come here, quick!" Tina yelled down the hallway. Paige jumped about 10 feet as she quickly finished dressing and ran towards her friends voice.

Paige- "God Tina, what is it?"

Tina- "Look what just came in the mail from your parents." She said excitedly, the smile on her face becoming bigger every second.

        Paige took a white envelope out of Tina's hand, observing her home address on the front. Inside the folded piece of paper was a short letter and a set of 1st row concert tickets.

Paige- "Oh my god!" She shrieked. Tina grabbed her hands and the two started jumping up and down like two 4 year old children.

Paige- "I thought they were done touring."

Tina- "Me too, read the letter. It explains everything." Paige unfolded the note and started to read the short paragraph.

----Hi honey, how are you?

            I figured these would give and Tina something to do while you're here. Your father was on the net and found out about a charity concert your boys are doing for the pediatric division at Florida Hospital. We knew you'd want to be there, so we took the liberty of getting you these tickets. Surprised? We hope so. We'll see you two girls in a couple days, we love you.

Mom and Dad----

             After reading the letter Paige's excitement was suddenly put on hold. Tina looked confused as she saw her best friends face fall.

Tina- "Paige, what's wrong?" Paige looked down at her set of Backstreet Boys tickets, a million thoughts running through her mind.

Tina- "It's Nick isn't it?" Paige shook her head slowly.

Paige- "Over the last two weeks we've become so close, almost enough to make me forget that he is a poser. But now, holding these tickets, I'm starting to remember how much I love the real Nick Carter and how much I'm supposed to hate this poser that I've been talking to."

Tina- "Paige, have you ever thought that maybe this guy is the real Nick Carter. I mean, you say you know everything about him, so why don't you take that info and compare it to what you know about this guy that your in love with."

Paige- "Tina, I don't love him."

Tina- "Oh please, he's all you've been talking about for the last two weeks and you have been disgustingly happy. Think about it Paige, every other poser you have talked to you've have never had the desire to talk with again, nor form any kind of relationship with. You knew automatically that there was no way they could be the real Nick. So, if your so certain that this guy is a poser, then why are you still talking with him?" Paige threw up her hands in defeat and frustration.

Paige- "What if I wrong Tina, what if he isn't Nick? At least if I don't let myself believe it then maybe I won't get hurt as badly when I find out the truth."

Tina- "You already know the truth Paige, your just scared to admit it...... Let's put it this way. You told me once you could never love anyone the way you love Nick Carter. That you know and love him even though you have never met him. Right?"

Paige- "Right."

Tina- "Ok, now if that's true then how come this stranger has perked your interest the way you said only Nick Carter can? You know deep down that there is a strong possibility that this guy may be him. If you know Nick the way you claim too, ask yourself why this guy is having the same affect on you as he does..... You'd better figure it out, cause in a few days your going to be seeing the real Nick on stage."

SexyNCchica80- "I wanted to tell you that I won't be online from Friday to Tuesday."

NikeGreen20- "Where is my baby going?"

SexyNCchica80- "I'm going to Orlando with Tina to see my parents. Today they sent me a letter and some tickets to a charity Backstreet Boys concert on Saturday night."

*Nick's House*

Nick- "Brian! Get in here!" He yelled, his heart pounding so hard he thought his chest would explode. Brian came flying through the door second later.

Brian- "What is it man, you ok?"

Nick- "Page is coming to the concert with Tina this Saturday."

Brian- "Your kidding me right?"

Nick- "No I'm not, what am I gonna do Brian?"

Brian- "Well, do you want to meet her?"

Nick- "Of course I do, but how? I can't just tell her who I am now, she'd never believe."

Brian- "Well, why don't you try talking to Tina. Maybe you and her can work something out for the night of the show." Nick pondered this for several moments before an idea came to mind.

Nick- "I think I have an idea."

           After some excessive persuasion, Nick finally got Paige to let him speak to Tina. Tina sent Paige out of the room and started her talk with Nick..... An hour passed, over that time Nick had told Tina everything. Starting with Paige's un-titled story, and ending with who he really was.

SexyNCchica80- "Nick, I want you to know that I'm taking all of this on good faith. I kinda suspected it was you, but I also know this is the internet and it's a dangerous place to meet people. For your sake, I hope your telling me the truth."

NikeGreen20- "I swear I am Tina. Even if I was a poser I could never keep a lie like that up this long with someone as great as Paige. I'm more then willing to prove it. But I need your help."

SexyNCchica80- "What did you have in mind?"

          It was another two hours before they signed off the internet. Nick had explained his plan to Tina in great detail so that everything would run smoothly the night of the show. Tina had agreed to everything, hoping that she was doing the right thing for her best friend. Hoping that this would work out for both Paige and Nick. She decided against sharing any of this knowledge with Paige. The night of the show was near, and expectations were getting bigger with each passing day.
