Dora Parkoe
Dora is the young and nieve maid of Mrs. Bramson. She has only been working for her a year or less and constantly makes mistakes such as hinding the broken china in the rose bed. The worst mistake that she has made is falling for Dan's charms and now will have to pay for it by having his child. She hopes that he will marry her, but soon after he is employed by Mrs. Bramson she and her unborn child are slowly forgotten. She becomes downhearted when she starts learning of Dan's past affairs and advances with Olivia. She becomes even more unfortunate when she discovers a hand poking out of Mrs. Bramson's rubish pit.....the hand of Ms. Chalfont.
