| We've been surrounded by sadness
lately. One of the kids who hangs out here, "Cokehabit" (that's Coca-Cola
people) lost her grandmother. Then an old and dear friend of ours, James
Fullick passewd away. Last week was the worst though. There was an
accident on the way to the school and our kids lost a classmate and have
another in the hospital. The girl who died was named Priscilla Bellville.
She was on the school's drill team, had been a cheerleader for 3 years,
and worked with the deaf at her church. During 8th grade, she was best
friends with our "ReD", and a classmate to "jakob", "grunge", and "Betti".
She would have graduated this year. The injured girl is named Lindsay. She
is a friend of our "thrasher", "FReAk", and "gIMP" (formerly F.O.A.L.)
gIMP and Lindsay went together for nearly a year. She's now in the
hospital with internal bleeding and has no memory. She has many broken
bones, and the last update I heard, it was possible she could lose her
leg. She is also a member of the school's drill team. So pray for her, and for the family & friends of Priscilla
please.
In spite of this we will all be doing our best to have a nice Thanksgiving and wish the best to everyone this holiday season. Look for our Christmas page to be up in the next week or so. |
