NOTES PAGE

Okay, when you come on the mud it'll show you a board with 10 lines, starting with Announce, then Areas, etc. the numbers in the 3rd column are the number that you haven't read, to read them is simple. If you just want to start on the first board, type note, it'll show you the first note, keep typing note until you run out of notes in the board then just type note again and it'll automatically switch boards to the next one, and keep going until your all out. to start at like the 5th board, type board 5, then note and you'll start at the 5th board. To just erase all your notes type note catchup on each board and it'll mark all of the notes that are "unread" as "read", so you don't have to worry about them anymore. To reread a note that's already been read, or just to check the title of one, type board <#>, then note list and it'll show you all the notes that are currently still on that board, so just type note read <#> to reread it.

To write a note: type board <#> for the board you want to write on, then type note write. It'll put you in a note writing screen and will ask you to who you want to write the letter to, it'll say something like, if nothing is written all will be auto. inserted, may only be addressed to immortals, all may not be selected, etc. Heed these warnings, if you write to more than one person, just do like Bryant Bryant Bryant etc. no , between them, just one space. the Subject space is for just that, the subject of the letter. then you'll be able to write you letter, only 80 letters per line and colors can be used. Once you are done with your letter, type end, this will end it and give you a choice, continue, view, post, forget. to continue the letter type c, to view it type v, to post it on the board type p, to delete it type f. Once the letter is posted the only way you can get it off is by typing note remove , you can see what number it is by looking at the note list, your letter should be near the last displayed.

so in general, the commands for notes are...note, note write, note remove, note list,
