717. David Tate Lane
Graduated from Fairfield Highschool in 1959 and attended Lon Morris Collage on an Athletic scholarship. David graduated from Baylor. He taught school and coached at University Junior high in Waco before accepting a job with KCEN TV Channel 6 in Waco-Temple area. He left this job to fill sports director job with WFAA TV Channel 8 in Dallas. He moved from sports director to a posistion in sales where he would have more time for his family. He left the sales department of Channel 8 to fill a posistion manager job with KFDM-TV in Beaumont and then returned to Channel 8 in Dallas as Vice President and Station Manager.
