"Megan Lynn Harmon, 23, of Cove, died suddenly on Sunday, November 4, 2012, in a Dallas hospital. She was born in Houston, Texas, on October 22, 1989, to Mitchel Dale Harmon and Cyndi Lee (Tatum) Harmon. Megan was a student at Weatherford Junior College. A member of NBHA, Paint Horse Association, 4-H and Future Farmers of American, Megan enjoyed the outdoors and loved barrel racing and training horses. Preceded in death by her grandfather, James J. Tatum; Megan is survived by her parents, Mitchel and Cyndi Harmon, of Cove; grandparents, Glynn and Genevieve Harmon and Mickey Tatum; aunts and uncles, Doug and Donnis Barrett and J. D. and Patricia Boutin; cousins, Jason Barrett, Curtis Boutin and Nicole Eppinette and numerous other loving friends and family members. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Second Baptist Church, 6227 N. Main, Baytown, with Reverend Roger Harp officiating. Burial will be at Tilton Cemetery in Cove. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Wesley Huggins, Matt Holland, John Williams, Jason Barrett, Curtis Boutin and Steven Hill.
