Thomas Martin Owens was in the War with Spain, 1900. S>N> 2425887. He died in the Waco Veterans Hospital in Waco, Texas of cancer. He left a wife Mary and two children. Mama Owens got a pension check in the amount of $42.00 a month from November 30, 1940 till November 25, 1941. Then she got $36.00 until September 1945, it then went to $30.00. At his death he had two children at home, Helen and Kenneth Owens. When he died at the Texas Veterans Hospital, he had one coin purse, one carton of cigarettes, and $2.85.
