What is the Singles Theatre Network?
THE SINGLES THEATRE NETWORK is an organization
whose purpose is to provide singles the opportunities
to experience the magic of live theatre productions,
plays and comedy clubs with other singles who have
similar interests. These events occur approximately
every two to four weeks. We attend a variety of
theatre productions including comedies, dramas,
musicals, and mysteries.
Other bonus activities include quarterly mixers at
popular locations. After the show is over, our group
goes to a popular restaurant to mingle, have dinner,
and socialize further.
The objectives of the Singles Theatre Network are:
To sponsor excellent organized activities at different
theatres in Houston for our members and their guests
to enjoy.
To support the theatres around the Houston area.
To offer an excellent social setting for singles
to socialize, mingle, make new friends, and to meet
other singles with similar interests.
Theatres we have been to include: Alley Theatre,
Stages, Actor's Workshop, Theatre Suburbia, After Dinner
Players, Actor's Theatre, Theatre Southwest, Main
Street Theatre, Country Playhouse, The Laff Stop, The
Company Onstage, Radio Music Theatre, Theatre Lab,
Rockefeller's, Pasadena Little Theatre, Spellbinders,
and Curtains.
There are no membership dues. Your help is appreciated in making copies, producing flyers,
mass mailing, and word-of-mouth publicity, in order to
expand the network to include a wide variety of people.
