I Have lived my whole life in Texas and grown up on hunting and fishing. It has become much more than a hobby for me. My friends say it's an obsession. Well, I have been fortunate to have traveled across the globe in persuit of my passion, and now I'm just trying to figure out how to make a living off of it. I really love the outdoors and have come to learn that hunting isn't all about killing. As a matter of fact the harvesting of an animal is the anticlimax to a hunt which is just the result of hard work and alot of luck. Hunting shouldn't be about how many or how big, but rather the enjoyment you get by being close to nature. I know that all ethical hunters out there know exactly what I am talking about. An old friend of mine once told me that hunters are the world's greatest conservationists, and although it seems like an extreme contradiction it is a very truthful statement. Hunters dollars around the world make up the vast majority of all conservation funds. And what is even better is the fact that we get to actively participate in conservation everytime we step into the woods. I am currently at Tulane University in New Orleans on a Naval ROTC Scholarship, and it sure is a change of pace from the small town I grew up in. Well, thanks for visiting my site. There is more on the way-hunting photos, stories, and links to guides and outfitters- so come back some time and take a load off. Feel free to email me with any questions, comments, or suggestions.
