Remembering P.H.S.

The Paul H. Pewitt School District celebrated its Fiftieth Anniversary in April 2001 during its fifty first year in existence. Maybe the 50th Anniversary celebration was to celebrate fifty years in the school building. The current building was not completed for the first year of the Pewitt School District. The following posters are to remember the past fifty years. Enjoy the pictures!!






In the sheet of photos above, a correction must be made to the names listed for the photo on the bottom right. That is not the lovely Janeta Baugh May, but the lovely Dorothy Parris Johnson.






















The photos were taken from available yearbooks and are a culmination of the efforts of Morris Craig and Lloyd Heard, but mostly those of Morris.
