A Maiden's Love
By Theresa Bradshaw

Maiden: I have waited for this day, my Prince will
come to me
My eyes of blue show tenderness, that only he
can see.
Where are ye my Prince, this castle is so cold
I need thee arms around me, to warm my very soul.

Prince: Thou hast my love sweet maiden, forever
and day
Come walk with me in the meadows, least I might
lose my way.
We will dance to the music, the birds will
surely sing
I will offer ye these flowers, and this your
wedding ring.

Maiden: I will walk with thee sweet Prince, near
the castle grounds
And watch with faith enduring, the love that we
hath found.
For in thee my heart I do entrust, forever and a day
And I am always with thee, never to lose my way.

Prince: I will offer up my Kingdom, built for
thee my love
And ask that our love be blessed, from angels up
above.
For ye have brought me happiness, that I have
never seen
And I'd wait right here forever, for you to be
my Queen.
