Concerning Dreams and Truths
By Michael Casares

Lips quiver,
Breath ignites a fle of two
worlds colliding.
Eyes flutter, seizure ripping through
the reality mistaken for a dream.
Head on shoulder,
rest in the twilight.
Comfort within and
distress until then.
Words spoken and cut the air and
land on on quaking ground.
Desires linger but no admonition
is taken,
no sense of disreality or dreaming
only the scared reality
of unfulfillment.
