Listen With Your Heart

I may not always show the love that comes from deep
within.
But love binds me everyday, just like the blowing winds.
Listen with your heart, and you will hear the words
like embers from a flame, the heart will always burn.

Someone will hear the sounds, if made with true concern.
Show someone you love them, and love will be returned.
Give some of yourself, and don't always try to take.
Each lesson that we learn, will surely seal our fate.

God blesses love that's given, with no thought of gain.
and looks inside the heart, and sees how great the pain.
Each of us must promise to love and give God's way.
Tomorrow isn't promised, and neither is today.

So I will love my brother and give him what he needs.
I know that I am who I am, simply by my deeds.
Listen with your heart, and never let it sleep.
Everything we do in life, is always ours to keep.
