A lover wanders close to death,
unaware of its taste,
drowning in sorrow from a lost loved
one.
As he takes a breath of air
His lungs fill with the stench of
anguish
While his heart is filled with
suffering
The unanswered questions of why she
is gone is unexplainable
The questions racing through his
mind,
yearning for an answer,
yelling in the face of death...
wanting to be a help
Yet is unable to become it for her
Never searching for the truth
only to notice the wrongings
which stain his heart
Never to be explained
Calmness fills his mind along with
tranquility
He is visited by the sandman with no
struggle
Slumber overflows his mind
Ponder of your awaiting death
You will find your answers
Soon enough.
