My Poems
Deep Within (part one)

A small flame burns within
The depths of you soul.
Deep and passionate
No being ever able
To touch it’s beauty.
None except for one
All confidence placed in him
All hidden within, now without.
Slowly the small flame did turn
From a cool orange to white hot
With each soothing word
Lay a collaboration of lies
A flame once white hot with passion
Now calm blue of confusion
Each passing moment leaving
You wondering why. Wondering
Why you care or why you feel.
It would be better to have no feeling
It would be best devoid of this so called love
Now glowing embers in the pit
The pit of your sould once alive with
The fire of passion, now weakening.
He who fed the fire has now gone
Says he found this God yet
Actions prove inconclusive to this.
The embers now extinguished by
The very foot of he who once
Cared so much to feed it.
Broken, downtrodden and burned
Lying on the floor.
