Proposal

Come fly with me,
You and I alone
To a magical world
So unlike our own
It's a world filled
with pleasures,
fearful desires.
With ice flows
that feed the
unquenchable fires.
Surrealistic dreamscapes
that will never end.
Home to a person
Alone among friends.
This world always welcomes
a new set of dreams,
A fresh new idea,
to balance the schemes
which so often absorb
the time, and the space,
of this wonderful, whimsical,
faraway place.
Don't worry of food,
clothes or supplies.
We'll feed on our being,
as we float through the skies.
Clothed by emotions,
Our words our supplies,
Together we'll soon
learn to hear with our eyes.
To run through the violent,
tormented terrains,
Emerging upon the more
peaceful plains.
It is here that we learn
Of the things yet unknown.
Dawn's awareness emerges
and to us they are shown.
Few are invited
to come to this land.
And fewer still choose
to grab on to my hand.
For although the sunlight
will outshine the night.
At times our journey
may prove quite a fight.
But come with me now
and you may help me find
the peace which eludes me
inside my own mind.
