The Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum

These pictures depict a few of the displays of antique farm machinery and buildings that have been relocated to the museum site, as well as some of the interesting items on display inside the main building. The museum is loacated on the west service road of Interstate 27, just south of Hale Center. Admission to the museum is FREE, and it is open daily 1 to 5 PM.

Antique Farm Machinery

See the machinery that grandad and great-grandad used to plant and harvest his crops at the Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum.

Pinkerton House

See many early day buildings that have been relocated to the Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum.

Stone Tools & Arrowheads

Arrowheads, Stone Drills, and other tools made and used by primitive man in Hale County. These artifacts were found in the Hale Center area.

Alien Torture Machine?

Actually this is an early day device for producing a "permanent wave". This display portrays an early day beauty parlor in Hale County.
