On July 8, 2002 my son, John, and I headed out on a road trip from central Texas to Arizona that we will not soon forget. The following pages contain rather large pictures of some of our adventures. I didn't want to make the pictures too much smaller, since they lose quality. Instead of closing out the pop-up ads that appear on each page, if you minimize them, they won't bother you anymore.

This is quite a common sign in New Mexico, on Interstate 10, where John and I did most of our driving. I had joked that I wanted to visit this "famous" landmark when we finally got to Arizona, and guess what...
