Meet DiAnn Mills

After putting our meetings on hold during 2020, the HACLA board is optimistically planning our 2021 Spring Workshop. We plan to meet in person at Champion Forest Baptist Church. Our speaker will be noted Christian author DiAnn Mills. She will speak on writing in 2021 and reaching others with faith and trust. All our activities will be respectful of COVID protocols such as mask-wearing, social distancing and food safety. For anyone still dealing with health issues, we will be offering DiAnn’s presentation on Zoom.

During our morning workshop we will share how we maneuvered through COVID times. Our afternoon workshop will be a back-to-ministry time where Jane Hope and Carole Hunkin discuss two reading lists drawn from The Read-Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease and The Hand that Rocks the Cradle: 400 Classic Books for Children by Nathaniel Bluedorn.

As always, touring the marvelous CFBC library is a big part of the experience!
