Appendix A
Administrative Tools Reference

This appendix lists the Windows NT Administrative Tools and the functions they perform. Table A.1 lists various system administrative tasks and the tools to use to perform them, as well as each tool’s location. For example, if you want to change the pagefile size, but can’t remember which tool to use, look up pagefile in Table A.1, and it will show you that the System icon, accessed via the Control Panel, should be used. You will often find that there are several different ways to perform the same task; only the most common are listed in the table.
