Sabrina was just getting off from work when she watched a familiar face fly by her in a car. Serena. The Blondie, um Rini's cousin! Wonder who that guy is boyfriend probably. (Maybe out for a sweet day of sunlight, love, and a romantic picnic. I wonder where my prince charming is.) Sabrina smiled at this thought. It was about 5 o'clock in the afternoon as the orange haired girl walked down the street to the bus stop. Another very friendly face greeted her.
"Sabrina!" Michelle called from her side.
Sabrina looked over and grinned, "Hi Michelle, Amara!" They waved and casually bounced over.
"Heading home after a long day at work?" Amara asked kindly. Sabrina nodded.
"Yeah actually I am. Hey, I saw Serena, you know her?" The two nodded.
"Old Meatball head, Moon Face. Yeah we know her well," Michelle giggled.
"I saw her going by in a car with a real cutie."
"Darien. That's her long time true love and boyfriend, Sabrina. Watch out because Serena turns into a real nightmare if you even hint on liking her man!" Amara laughed. Sabrina smiled. Finally the bus came and the three enjoyed a nice ride home full of fun conversation.
When it was her stop Sabrina called getting off, "See you two later!" They waved back as the bus headed into town. Her sparkling green eyes scanned the area and then the orange beauty walked a block or two to her apartment.

It wasn't until later that night, that the true horrors began. Serena had been dropped off by Darien at her house, he'd gone home, and everyone was settled in wherever they lived. The clock struck 6 o'clock PM with a distinctive chime that sent chills up Serena's spine. The phone had begun ringing just then and Serena quickly answered. She liked being alone in the house for a while but for some reason she wasn't that comfortable anymore. "Hello?"
"Hey Meatball Head!" Mina laughed from the other end.
"Hey Mina. What's up?"
"We were going to head over to the movies, wanna come?"
"Um " Serena thought for a moment before replying with her decision, "actually I'm kinda tired from spending the day with Darien."
"Oh he did come home. I'm glad okay, well you rest up and we'll see you tomorrow at the Temple around 1. We're calling another meeting."
"Okay, bye Mina," Serena replied before hanging up. It was nice to have a phone call from a dear friend. It's such a nice evening, maybe I'll take a walk. (Oh man! But I told Mina I was tired well I am. Maybe a good walk down to the arcade will help me out.) Serena threw on a jacket and went out.

It was truly a good thing that Rini was sleeping over a friend's house. It gave Serena some time to collect herself and put back together the shattered pieces. (They could've been killed and I wasn't paying attention. It is all my fault.) Then suddenly the sisters' words popped into her mind,
"You can't blame yourself! There's no way you could have known, Serena please go home and get some rest. I'll take you myself," Avery echoed in her mind.
"But I can't not blame myself!" Serena shouted out loud. No one was walking the streets or even home, it was summer vacation after all and most people had gone away. The sound of her voice echoed in ripples down the street and into alleyways. She smiled, almost thinking she had a separate self to talk to. A cold wind suddenly swept her away, but she never moved. "Time to go home," Serena whispered.

Sabrina walked into the front door of her apartment/loft to find it completely spotless. Usually she never had any time to clean in the morning, since she had work and other things to tend to. "Hey Brina," someone said coming down the hall. Sabrina waved.
"Hello Eve. How was your day?"
"Alright," the girl replied. She was tall and slim just like Sabrina, except her coloring was completely different. Like the color difference between the sunrise and sunset. Eve had hair of deep burgundy wine which fell down to just past her shoulder blades. Her eyes were intense and deep, hazel with hints of gold. Very different from her sunlit sister of orange and green.
"Say sister, you seem a bit distant tonight," Eve said, her eyes searching her sister's.
"Born on the same day, oddly, I at sunrise, and you at sunset. Yet we were born at the same time. How do you explain that Eve?" Sabrina replied.
"We're special Sabrina. We both always knew we were."
"Yes, I suppose we did," Sabrina spoke softly and then began to walk into the living room, hanging up her things.
"Twin sisters that look nothing alike. How did we get away with that one?"
"We're twins, not identical genius. Not hard to figure out!" Sabrina laughed. Eve's face turned smug and then filled with delight as she threw a pillow at her sister.
"Not hard at all, like your head I mean!" Eve laughed running down the hall and out the front door. Sabrina burst through just in time, pillow in hand, to watch the brilliant colors of the sunset pour into the sky like water on a arid desert.
"Ohh " she murmured softly. "Eve, it's beautiful " She dropped the pillow to the ground in awe.
"I know I always loved it as a kid. And now it has more meaning for the two of us than ever before. I'm just lucky "
"Lucky Eve?" Sabrina said as shimmering pinks and oranges, purple-grays and glowing blues surround the sun and every inch of sky.
"Lucky that it's mine." Eve stood up and went into the house. Sabrina stood watching the last light of day fade from her vision, and too went into the house.

Mina sat up in bed that night, not being able to sleep. The time out with the girls was wonderful, but without Serena there was something missing. Like a fourth wheel on a car well not as simple and messed up though. Whenever she fell asleep, a sinking feeling filled her and she couldn't even close her eyes enough to blink. Oddly enough, the rest of the girls were the same way. Especially Serena, with her dreams and all.
"To fight is to win to battle is to watch those you love dearly die. I can't let this continue no I won't! This is between me, the others and you. No better yet, just me and you! Leave my friends out of this! Too many people are in danger!" Serena woke up screaming in her own room.
When after a couple of minutes, she said now fully awake: "There's something out there. I have to find it!" But a probing voice at the back of her mind advised against it. Luna.
"Serena, don't. Go back to sleep, I'm right here. Everything in time, but honey you're very pale and tired. Please try to relax."
"But Luna I can't! I feel so high strung and wound tight like a ball of rattle snakes! I want my normal life back! Normal school, hanging out at the arcade until past my curfew and missing everything! Even the exams I'd go back for well not exams ever but the thing is "
Luna curled up beside her and by the time she finished her sentence Serena fell asleep.
The very next morning had a great filling that came with it. One of a new start and happiness for everyone. If not this than a very deep change in the cosmic energy and Serena.
"Morning, how are you feeling meatball head?"
"Fine thanks. You Luna?" Serena replied munching her cereal carefully.
"Good, but nevermind that. Are you feeling better?" Luna replied quickly and confused.
"Oh yes. I think I'm going to take an early morning walk bye Luna!" Serena cried running out the door.
"But Serena! It's only-ohmygod! 7 o'clock in the morning? Serena, up this early? Now there is something going on!" Luna concluded going back up to the bedrooms.

Glimmer was waiting for the perfect moment to drop the bomb on Glacier. Not only had Borealis failed, but she didn't bother to report or to explain what had gone wrong. Glacier was the leader or the sisters, failure and no explanation was like a sin among them. "Morning sister," Glimmer exclaimed as Glacier emerged from her bed chamber.
"Hello. Did Borealis report in last night?" she replied fully awake.
"Report in? Oh Glacier I don't know how to tell you this but "
"What is it Glimmer?"
"I don't think I can possibly say it
"Come on!" Glacier said becoming impatient.
"Borealis failed miserably and came crawling to me once I overheard her talking not to say a word to you. But I knew if I didn't you'd be ever more angry if you found out yourself. She never reported in and she even lost her demonic headhunter Iris. I'm very sorry," Glimmer said turning and running off down the long black corridors. Her spiked silver heels were three inches high which complimented her black mini-skirt and slinky back-less silver halter top. I am good play innocent and it works like a charm
Glacier nearly pounded down Borealis's door with her fists. "Borealis!"
"Glacier!" Borealis exclaimed in surprise and in fright.
"Don't act surprised you knew this was coming! Why did you not bother to report in, because you know I don't tolerate failure and no explanations. Now I am very forgiving you know that! What happened?" Glacier demanded.
Borealis went on with her story nervously wringing her hands. "And that's it "
"Uh huh well I can tell you now that the Senshi will be more aware of our presence and the threat we pose. But not only did you fail you basically lied. But I am understanding so don't worry about it. I am very busy today planning for a final assaults on the Senshi. Just stay out of trouble okay little Sis?" Glacier said gently and left.
"Wow."
