Around midnight I began playing my flute. I played about 10 minutes before I realized it was late at night and I shouldn't be playing now. My realization was a little late -- I could hear people moving around and I knew I had awakened the whole neighborhood. I put up my flute, turned out the light and went to bed. I hoped no damage had been done. But suddenly I heard someone in the hall banging something which sounded like a drum and I knew people were upset because I had been playing my flute at that time of night.
