This is just a little page about me. I stole this idea from other people's pages and I'm gonna try my best to put those pages to shame :D. My name is Cherice Cochrane. Cherice is a french name and means "cherished one". I used to live in San Antonio, TX but now I live in New Orleans, Louisiana where I attend Tulane University. I just recently graduated from Judson High School in Converse, TX. I'm a flute & piccolo player and I used to be in the Judson Rocket Band. The Judson Rocket Band was known for doing it's traditional "Calypso" (played by the percussionists during football games and pep rallies until the antics of one freshman flute player with brown hair (who shall remain nameless) ruined it for everyone :{ but I'm not bitter. Anywho, I'm was also in the Chorale. Chorale is Judson's top choir. Now I sing soprano in Tulane's choir.

Here's a picture of Kristie and I with our protege. This past year (1998-1999) Kristie and I were both flute section leaders in the Judson Rocket Band. Judi was Kristie's protege and Desiree was my protege. Throughout the years, the tradition of the mentor/protege relationship has held strong in the Judson flute section and proven to be successful. Kristie and I hope that Judi and Desiree will let the tradition live on and find their own protege now that they are section leaders. Judi believes that she may have already found an upcoming freshman to be her protege. Something special about us is that we're all piccolo players as well!
