Ricky Cox, the direcctor of the Trinity 5000 Summer Series, in conjunction with the Fort Worth Runners Club,has announced that the Trinity series will be extended for an extra week. The event will be a benefit for longtime Dallas race director James Thruston. As many of you know, James recently underwent major surgery for kidney cancer. The race will be held Thursday, August 31, 2000 at 7:30 pm on the Trinity Trail across from the Outlet Square parking lot on the north side of downtown Fort Worth. The cost is $10.00. All proceeds will go to help James with his medical costs. Please come out and join us for this very special evening.
