A Safe Place

A safer place you
will never find, than where the security of God, so encompasses your soul.
Where you can drop all of your armor and run into the arms of Love and be
embraced with the one who is compassion.
Psalms 91 tells us to abide in the shadow of the Almighty and the benefits of
being in that safe place. There
are other places of this assured safety that the Father has so lovingly
provided, this is with your Godly friends whom exercise Christly wisdom where
your heart is concerned. They keep
your confidence and hide your nakedness.
Where do you turn when you begin to feel and sense the fatigue of the battle
lines upon your physical, emotional and spiritual self?
Not every port in the storm is a safe haven to turn into…one must use
great caution when one is dropping one’s guard, for the enemy is seeking
around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may destroy.
When God brings into your life these safe havens, also known as godly friends,
you can rest assured that He has pre-qualified their reliability and their
steadfastness. One must be
absolutely certain that one has heard from God as to where these friends or
havens are, or you shall find the imitator (the enemy’s chosen) ready and
willing to allow you the sense of safety. But
just as the name represents, imitator is not able to do anything, other than to
deceive, it is anything but a safe place! (Matthew 7:15; James 3:14-16) Once one
divulges a heart matter to one of these imitators, than havoc is about to abound
in your life. Where there once was
peace, will now become chaos!
It is vital to your walk with God, in this world, to surround yourself
with God fearing, wisdom gaining, soul searching, and bible reading Christians.
“You shall know them by their fruit!” (Matthew 7:15-16)
If one is walking in faith, according to the true word of God, than one
shall be abounding in the truth and light of Christ.
An imitator walking in the appearance of Godliness shall have secrets or
hidden things following and being revealed (1 Timothy
5:24
). Darkness follows them wherever
they go; corruptible deeds, actions and words.
Once
you have determined through fasting and much prayer, where your safe havens are,
than you can rest in the knowledge that when trials and tribulations come, than
you are going to be supported in words, deeds, actions and prayers of faith to
God. Godly friends don’t always
tell you what you want to hear, but they will tell you what is of God.
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his
friend” stated in Proverbs 27:17. “Faithful
are the wounds of a friend…” Proverbs 27:6.
If you are in the midst of or are facing a battle and you are feeling
overwhelmed or weakened, then confide in your godly friends whom will speak
words of life into your soul and they will ALWAYS direct or redirect you to the
CROSS! Before you go into war,
you should gather your allies (friends) and know that God has seen to the
outcome of the thing, so trust in Him and know that you know, you have rest in
the midst of it. Remember, that God
saw this coming from afar and positioned your friends to be in the right place
at the right time with just the right words that you will need to hear.
Let Him be your truth and source; therein lies your peace and joy.
