The Warm Feelings of Jordan Knight (early 90's)

There are an enormous amount of girls admiring him and all of them would do anything to be with him. For Jordan, that ain’t always easy. "There are so many gorgeous and nice girls out there, that it frightens me sometimes": that’s what he told an American journalist for not so long ago. "Besides, I don’t really have any preferences. They don’t really have to be beautiful, but preferably spontaneous and with a sense of humor. That sort of girls give me a warm heart."

Almost any guy wouldn’t mind to be Jordan Knight for a week or so. After all, it ain’t nothing being admired by so many girls. And receiving gifts and letters every day that were picked especially for you. Jordan enjoys the attention every day, even though he needs some time alone every once in a while. To think everything through and get everything straight. Of course, Jordan has been in love before, but every time it ended for Jordan, who will be 22 coming May 17, with the thought that this wasn’t the right girl after all. Needless to say, it is damn hard to have a steady relationship combined with the lifestyle of the New Kids on the Block. They’re hardly ever home and that doesn’t help in making a relationship solid. Other than that, Jordan isn’t really sure about what he wants out of a relationship. Sure, a girlfriend here and there is no more than normal, but a steady relationship is not even to be talked about.

"The girl I fall for has to be spontaneous", Jordan says. "Whether she’s a blonde or a brunette isn’t really important. She doesn’t even have to be incredibly pretty, although she should be a little bit attractive." He continues: "this ain’t for right now, but someday even I would like to have a family. With two or three fun kids. No matter how great my life is now, I don’t want to keep on travelling throughout my life, being on the road all the time. Because no matter how interesting it is to visit other countries. everybody, myself included, has only one home."

Would Jordan’s preference go out to someone who is also in show business? He Says:

"No, on the contrary. It would seem so nice to have somebody that I can have my peace with. Someone who is naive towards this world and is not a part of this crazy circus. Because, if you are both in show business, you risk the chance of going insane together."

And what about Yulia, the Russian model that he seemed to get along with so well? Jordan: "she is very charming, very normal to be with and not at all on some start-trip. Just a cool girl and reasonably attractive. She laughed a lot and has stolen my heart a little bit. Like so many girls have. The right girl hasn’t come along yet, but that’s ok. I’m not in that big a hurry."

Jordan’s brother ain’t jealous: Although Jon Knight, Jordan’s brother, should have no complains about attention, he has to admit that Jordan is more popular than he is. It’s a proven fact. But Jon doesn’t mind: "that’s just the way it is" is his simple answer to this statement. "But I'll catch up with him one day, haha!"
