"My Dearest T.J,"My Dearest T.J.,It was a Saturday morning, when I was walking on Long Sand Beach near Bali Hi Ridge in Kauai, and the sun's brilliant rays bouncing off the golden sand caught my eye. I silently wept, as I thought of your smile. The magnificent scenery seemed so unreal; I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. The vibrant myriad of color was all around. Too beautiful for words, too sad to describe. The ocean's waves crashed against the rocks and misted my whole body as I passed by. I could taste the salt in the water. The air smelled of sweet water lilies. The seagulls squawked to aware me of their presence. Some seemed to wave as they flew by. I took my sandals off so that I could feel the cool, smooth sand on my bare feet. I realize now why the beach was titled Long Sand… The walk seemed endless. I soon found myself closer to Bali Hi Ridge, but no closer to the halfway point of the island. I wanted to keep on walking; but then I remembered what you once told me, "Too much of a beautiful thing will make your dreams seem tasteless." I cannot recall any dream as wonderful as this experience, but I can wait until I do. This day will remain in my heart, forever. Thinking about this place brings back sadder memories than happy ones. I will spend an eternity wishing for a time when I can share a wonderful adventure like this with you. (In heaven or in another life.) Love Always, Monica Rexach |

" Bed Of Flowers "she laid herself softlyacross the bed of flowers wishing and hoping an angel would appear someone who understands all those who reprimand so much demand from that man hatred fear comes from his beer she wishes she could control time hours away wishing for prayer hoping his time would come Spending his life beating his wife sickness overcomes all who hear of this how can you be so cruel love is the golden rule honor thy wife do not be her strife all is not lost because she's sprawled across the bed of flowers and life from her doth heaven say it devours takes her from this world sends her to safety ends all of her strife no more will she be his wife he was too proud to admit his wife daily does he hit she's happy now she'll be his fall she thanks god for everything her death ends it all |
