Battery A, 867th Field Artillery


280MM Gun in Germany


Assigned to A Btry. at Ft. Sill, OK. in Febuary of 1953.
After the Atomic Round was fired at Frenchman's Flats, returned to Ft. Sill
The Battalion was shipped to Germany in the fall of 1953.
I remained with the Btry until December 1955
when I rotated back to the States. and assigned to the 534th FA Bn.
