My sixteenth birthday party will always be a treasured memory. My school aide, Crystal, also known as one of my best friends, threw a surprise party for me. She had known that I wanted my own party, because my sister and I always had to share a party because our birthdays are just 5 days apart. I have to admit, she did a great job in keeping her little secret. In order to get me there, she told me I had been invited to a friend's anniversary party...and that I didn't need to bring a gift because it was totally based on a "celebration of their marriage", and no one was to bare gifts. And it was to be a formal party, so I was given a dress to wear to the event.

 This smile is beautiful Angel

This was when I first came in. Everyone was singing the famous

"Happy Birthday" song.

I don't think I need to put into words how surprised I was, because you can clearly see! It's not the best pic of me, but even so, I wanted to include it because I thought it was the perfect one to start this page with.

I'm reading a card. Can't you tell that I was really concentrating? And look, I even had someone to hold it for me! I was the Queen! Ahhh ok, I was treated like one anyway. 0:)
Isn't my "rose halo" pretty? My Crystal
made it for me. It was perfect, it had 16 roses. I loved it.
        And yep, I
still have it.

This is me smiling at the camera, before I unwrapped my gift Don't you just love the tin? It has angels on it.

This was the official day in which I
started my collection of angels. Because I had receive many.

I was showing my English Teacher my birthday present from my parents. Which was a ring with a diamond cross. My very first diamond. Yes, I must have been a good student for her presence at my party.
(I also had 2 more of my
teachers there.)  In the background are 2 of my friends from school.

This was my English Teacher reading a poem she had written for me. She had me smiling with her cleverness.
I still have the poem, which is kept with
my other special memories.
The lady next to her was my Home Economics
Teacher.

This is "Miss Julia". She was my Occupational Therapist all through my school years. I have known her since I was 3. So she has been there through it all. Always getting me what I need! Those who know her, know exactly what I mean! She doesn't play around when something needs to be done! Love her for that! ...And yes, that is my hand she's holding! haha she finally gave it back! Ok, joking aside, I cut me out because I didn't like my side of the pic!
