Once when I was a small child, she showed up when I had lost my way.
She was kind enough to take the time to help me find my mom without delay.
Once when I was a little older I thought no one understood what I was going through,
She approached me and assured me she knew.
When I felt like I was all alone, and thought I had nothing to call my own;
She came to me and said "My dear, that's so untrue."
The kind lady with a plain face told me that I'm never alone.
That God is always watching over me; with that, once again she was gone.
I was in town yesterday so I picked up a newspaper to see what was new.
I learned that a young couple were out for their Sunday drive, just out for the view,
When all of a sudden, a drunk driver changed their lives forever; a perfect family was no more.
Their baby was taken from them all too soon, their one and only child they adored
I began to weep for the infant, and for the couple who no longer had their precious baby.
When I reached home I was so upset, the ache in my heart wouldn't leave me.
I couldn't understand why such things had to be real.
I closed my eyes and asked God to take care of the baby, then I heard a voice reply, "He will."
I opened my eyes, startled that there was someone with me.
When I looked up I recognized the lady as the one who had came to my rescue as a child;
I said to myself, It couldn't be.
A few seconds latter, I was convinced it was her.
Only her face wasn't as plain as I remembered, but radiant and filled with wonder.
The next moment I couldn't believe what I saw before me; I was taken aback.
Her countenance became even more pleasant as a Heavenly glow surrounded her, beauty did not lack.
She smiled knowing that I had made the connection,
That I knew she was the one who was there for me years ago.
"You were the one who came to my aid before. -- But why are you here now?" I wanted to know.
Then the bright light lessened just enough to allow me to see.
Cradled in her graceful arms was the tiny baby.
"God sent me to let you know His child is now safe, because He heard your prayer.
God also wants to thank you because you cared."
She smiled, and once more she was gone.
I smiled too, because I knew I was not alone.
I wrote this poem to go with the angel my friend drew for me.
Do you know how much you mean to me?
Do you know that you are always in my thoughts?
Do you know when you are near, my heart feels free?
Do you know of the love I feel that you have brought?
Do you know you are my dearest friend?
Do you know the feelings I have for you are strong?
Do you know my love will never end?
Do you know I think of you when I hear a certain song?
Do you know I smile whenever you cross my mind?
Do you know when you flash me your sweet smile it makes my heart smile?
Do you know that friends such as you are hard to find?
Do you know for you I will go that extra mile?
Do you know I am grateful I’m able to call you a friend of mine?
Do you know I have a special place in my heart in which you will always hold?
Do you know the feelings I have for you are hard to define?
Do you know that our friendship is something to behold?
Do you know I really do love you, and that my love really is true?
Do you know that I need you in my life, that I never want you to go astray?
Do you know I love your company, and enjoy being with you?
Do you know that my heart has never felt this way?
Do you know how much I miss you when you aren’t here?
Do you know that you will always have me because from you I could never part?
Do you know that whenever you need me I’ll be there?
Do you know even when we are apart, you are always with me in my heart?
Do you know that you are my shinning star?
Do you know that I can see the love in your heart just by looking into your eyes?
Do you know how beautiful, how wonderful and special you are?
Do you know that I asked God for someone to befriend, for someone to love --
And you were His reply?
Thank You God for my family.
They mean so much to me.
Thank You God for all the people who have
Touch my life in some way.
They were all sent by You, I must say.
Thank You God for the stars in the sky.
For all the beautiful things I'm able to see
With my perfect eyes.
Thank You God for the birds that
Sail through the air with such wings.
I am thankful that I'm able to hear them sing
Thank You God for the ability to express what I feel.
Because I can show others who I am, I'm thrilled
Thank You God for everything.
Even the little things.
Thank You God for being there.
I'm glad I'm in Your care.
Thank You God for hearing my prayers.
For being with me no matter where.
Thank You God for showing me love.
The kind of love I can only receive from You above.
If we had never met, look at all we would have missed.
But I would have missed out on so much more.
I would have never known that a person such as you existed.
When we first met, I had no idea that a wonderful friendship was in store.
If we had never met, I would not have your visits to look forward to.
I wouldn't have a friend as dear.
I would never have a thought of you, when we aren't together; like I do.
I wouldn't have a special day of the year.
Which is the day we met a few years ago.
I never would have know what a great guy you are.
If we had never met, my heart wouldn't be all aglow.
I wouldn't have been able to tell you that you are a star.
I would have never seen you smile at me.
Never would I have known the compassion in your eyes.
Your eyes are as sweet as can be.
I would have never known you had a heart as open as the sky.
I never would have had a true friend, you see.
Because of you, I have memories that I will never forget
All this wouldn't be...
If We Had Never Met.
What is a dream?
A dream is something you want with your whole heart.
It sometimes seems impossible, but you have to believe.
When there is something you wish for, the want never parts.
A dream can be what one’s heart desires.
Dreams make hearts what they are, and they are all real.
No matter how big or small, dreams never tire.
Others may think what you wish for is no big deal.
We all have different dreams, and yet most are the same.
For some, a certain dream may be harder to accomplish.
It may take a little more work, but all you need to do is aim.
Your dream is yours, it’s your deepest, most wanted wish.
Without dreams where would we be?
Without dreams we would be lost.
Dreams make up you and me.
To make a dream a reality do whatever it takes, whatever the cost.
Though it may not be easy, keep the faith.
Make it known to God what is in your heart.
Keep your head up, and a smile on your face.
Don’t leave your dream in the dark.
If you think you have no dreams, look inside you.
When you know what you want, in your eye is a gleam.
If you really want a wish to come true, here’s what you do...
Dream, Dream, Dream.
The Wishing Well
I tossed a penny into the wishing-well today.
Because when you do,
You will get your wish someday.
People toss many coins into that well, hoping their wishes will
come true.
After I had made my wish,
My eyes saw all the coins.
And I wondered if anyone's had been accomplished.
With all the others, my wish now joined.
A single coin represented
Every wish that had been made.
It's something how much hope one can put into a cent.
Or how much is really pays.
Each coin has a story.
In which only each owner knows.
While some are easy,
Others are bigger, and need time to grow.
There at the well,
Watching as they fall,
I saw children dropping coins from excited hands.
I also witnessed a few sad faces,
Who really didn't believe, but did it because it was there.
Then, beside the well, a little girl took her place.
Before throwing it in, she held the coin and said a prayer.
I heard her say "Jesus, I trust You will make my wish come
true."
With that, she tossed the coin into the well with a kiss.
I was moved by her, and asked if there was anything I could do.
She smiled and said "Just know that you need more than a
wishing-well to make a wish.
Being only seven, she wasn't clear.
But I knew exactly what she had said.
She wanted me to know the well wasn't enough.
That I should lift my head,
And make the wish of my heart known to God above.
To The Listener Of My prayers
To the listener of my prayers.
I'm writing this for You,
Because I know You are there
Listening as You always do.
In Your hands, my fears, I place.
I know my tears aren't hidden.
You are there revealing Your grace.
To You I am driven.
Even when I haven't the slightest clue,
I know You understand.
When I think I have no one, I remember You.
I put the weight of my heart in Your hands.
I tell you the desires of my heart,
Even though You already know.
But I reveal to You so my pain will part.
Hoping someday my prayers will be answered,
And all my innermost dreams will come true.
I hope that one day my dreams will be Stirred.
That my deepest dreams are stirred by You.
I pray it is apart of Your big plan.
That the world will know,
And I won't be alone in the stand.
Your gracious love, I need You to show.
I continue to wait,
Till You feed my heart's desire.
I shall never loose faith.
But build it higher and higher.
No matter what anyone may say,
I refuse to give in.
My faith in You my Lord, will stay
Till the very end,
Which will be when You shine through.
And all will see
That dreams come true because of You.
And the desires of my heart will be reality.
Touch Me
Open my heart.
Touch me; let my fears depart.
Take the pain away,
And fill me with Your warm embrace,
Make Yourself known to me,
Touch me; mold me into what you want me to be.
Instil in me the courage I need
To hear You, and to take heed,
Show me that You are near.
Touch me; dry my tears
With one touch of Your Almighty hand.
Touch me; with one touch I shall stand.
Allow me to stand for You,
Let me help You show them You are true.
Touch me; I want to be Your cheerleader,
That they may see me and become believers.
After their hearts see,
How could they not join Your Holy team?
Use me, O God. to show there is hope in faith.
Open many hearts, by touching me with Your grace.
I Read You
Roaming through cyber space,
With the click of the mouse, I found you.
"There is no time to waste."
I had to get through,
Something told me to write,
So I followed my heart,
I typed words to you, and I was right.
When you typed back, it was the start.
The start of a friendship when I read you.
Through your typed words sent to my screen,
Instead of seeing your face at first view,
I saw your heart, you made it easy to read.
Through pecking at keys, we have shared so much
In the time since I read you first,
My heart you have touched.
In the way this friendship has emerged,
I can't help not to think
God beckoned this to be what it is.
Thank God He gave me the link.
The link to a friendship I cherish.
Now your words are words I look forward to.
You make me laugh and smile.
I like the cute little wink *_- you do,
It never goes out of style.
My heart beats faster when I see you online
For I know the words you type,
To send from your heart to mine,
Will be downloaded to my heart in a second's time.
When I'm not feeling well,
You give me a heart to cry to,
Then my bad day gets on it's sail,
And sails far from my view.
I'm so glad that our hearts have met.
Thanks for your ((Hugs)) and for all you do.
I'm glad that we met here on the net.
I'm glad that I took the chance to read you.
Take My Life in Your Hands
Take my life in Your hands,
I want to live for You.
Take my live in Your hands,
For You, I want to shine true.
Take my live in Your hands,
Mold me into the person You want me to be.
Take my life in Your hands,
Instill Your strength in me.
Take my life in Your hands,
I want to become strong in Your Name.
Take my life in Your hands,
Knowledge of Your Word, I continue to gain.
Take my life in Your hands,
And take care of the things You have promised.
Take my life in Your hands.
And give my life a new twist.
Take my life in Your hands,
For I have need of Your almighty touch.
Take my life in Your hands,
I want to feel Your healing rush.
Take my life in Your hands,
Cause me to stand.
Take my life in Your hands,
That I may show Your love throughout the land.

I know my faith is enough, for it's a gift from You.

I know I'm within Your view.

Cause everyone to rejoice when they see.

That they may see Your works through me.
I Am Healed
Thank You Jesus for all that You have done.
You were at work in my life even before it begun.
Because You died for me,
I'll live. and I'll live through eternity.
I'm so glad I know who You are.
You are the keeper of the stars.
Yet You are so much more.
You have things in store.
I know You can do all things.
I know that I will be able to pray to you on my knees.
I come now before You in this thing called a wheelchair,
Making known to You, my Lord, my heart's prayer.
I know I have been heard, and that You continue to hear.
While You carefully plan the day I Am Healed.
I'll wait till the day,
You will make Your will for my life plain.
Even now I thank you,
For I Am Healed true.
At this very moment,
Healing to my body is sent.
My faith has made me whole,
And it will soon unfold.
By my faith, I proclaim,
That I Am Healed in Your Name.
I'll hold firm, my faith won't part.
For Your Word is in my heart.
I'll thank you now for I Am Healed by Your Hand.
Then one day I'll announce "I Am Healed", while I stand!
On My Knees
As I go through life,
I face bad and good times as they arrive.
Since I have met You,
I have found a love so true.
You have lifted me up,
Always filling my cup.
When I need to feel You near,
I get on my knees, ready to hear.
Listening closely not to miss what You say,
Then suddenly I’m okay.
Okay with myself and the life I lead.
So much You have brought to me.
I love You so much,
You live in my soul, I have been touched.
I face each day knowing You live within me.
In everything I do, I’m on my knees.
While lying in bed,
Thoughts feel my head.
How thankful am I to be alive,
How through heartache, I survive.
Thoughts of You pour into my soul,
And there they stay, never letting go.
There, I am before You.
In my way, I’m on my knees.
Being before You, allowing You to see all of me.
As I thank You for all You have done.
You shine upon me as the morning sun.
As I praise You for Your mercy.
I’m on my knees.
As You give me the words to write,
I’m on my knees, so You may shine Your light.
To come before You on my knees in my earthly body I may not be able.
But I come to You on my knees, in many ways, with You as my heart’s label.
In all I do, it is You Lord I desire to please,
So I ask You to know that I too, come before You on my knees.
I Believe
I believe, in all things there are reasons.
I believe there is always another way.
I believe if you want something bad enough you will do anything to gain it.
I believe that everyone needs someone to turn their frown upside down.
I believe that when you miss someone so much, you must love them truly.
I believe that when someone thinks you are beautiful, you feel beautiful in their eyes.
I believe a kind word can make a heavy heart light.
I believe that when you see yourself from your best friend’s view, you see the real you.
I believe when you give it all you have, you can rest assured you did your best.
I believe that laughter can calm your fears.
I believe everyone has experienced the loss of something they once took for granted.
I believe there is a new sense of hope with each new day.
I believe by judging someone by appearance, you may miss out on something special.
I believe that two people can share their hearts and dreams without ever even meeting.
I believe that someone you least expect, can dry your tears.
I believe that the ones you love most can make you cry the loudest.
I believe some questions just don’t have answers.
I believe some emotions can’t be expressed.
I believe there is someone for everyone, IF only they believe.
I believe there are times when only a special someone can make you stop crying.
I believe God answers prayers when you least expect it.
I believe you can make the most out of a bad situation.
I believe in giving all the love you have to give.
I believe that you can only love someone in the same way they love you.
I believe hope is the face of grace.
I believe faith is the face of love.
I believe in things unseen.
I believe in God’s undying love.
I believe that in all good things, God has a hand.
I believe in the power of prayer.
I believe in the power of love.
I believe that no matter what, it’s better to love,
than not love at all.
I believe that love is God’s greatest gift.
I believe He is the answer to all questions.
I believe you always get what you need.
I believe you can move mountains just by saying…

What Faith Can Unlock
Ever wanted something that seemed impossible to gain?
And you think that it will only be brought to you in dreams?
Some dreams fade away, while others remain.
These are what live in your heart, flowing as a never-ending stream.
Some dreams you work hard at achieving,
And you feel a sense of relieve once you have reached your destination.
Then you are thankful you never stopped believing.
And you know all your hard work paid off, leading you to perfection.
Faith is the key that unlocks every door.
There are dreams that never seem to get answered,
In your heart you ask yourself why they are stored
If it isn’t meant to be; thinking they are unheard.
But then you realize
Your dreams are known by Someone other than you.
With tears of hope in your eyes,
You recognize that Someone as Jesus.
Your spirit is calmed like never before.
You know that you are to be joyous,
Because it is He who put the dream in your heart; a heart He adores.
All you need is faith,
And Jesus will take care of the rest.
With your faith He grants your desires.
Because He placed it in your heart -- place your request.
And He will give, and never tire.
When you want something with all your heart,
Rather than pushing it away, hold it tight.
Let God shine upon it, instead of hiding it in the dark.
Let Jesus give your dream it’s light.
The Sun Arose
The sun rose once again,
As the waves cascaded
And met with the shore; a perfect blend.
As light took over, dusk faded.
There it was, the brand new day.
The morning so fresh, still nothing stirred.
She sat in awe, for she had never seen it in this way.
Never paid attention to the song of a bird.
Never had time to sit and watch the rising of the sun.
But now things were different;
She was all alone.
She had lost all joy, and wasn’t content.
Someone she loved was now gone.
Her heart ached, she didn’t have the chance
To say goodbye to someone she adored.
She was angry with God for taking away the one she loved so, before the dance.
There was so much to do, so much in store,
Yet, she had to let go without a glance
As she sat there looking out into the still morning, she wept.
For the beauty she had seen a moment ago, was now dark.
“What happened?” she asked, for there was no depth.
Everything had changed, light had no part.
Then she heard a voice say,
“The one you love is here with me.”
Upon hearing this, she said “Why did You take her away?”
“She was not yours to keep; I sent one of My angels in the form of a baby.
For it was the only way I could gain you.
So, you see, I had a plan
From the beginning, to allow you to see My love so true,
Now I hold your baby in My hand.”
Tears fell down her face.
Her soul flooded with a sense of peace,
Realizing why she had named her baby Grace.
She fell to her knees…
The sun rose once again,
