My Angels
I have a love for angels. I think they are so beautiful. I truly believe God sends angels for all of us. There are many angels in this world. They may not have wings or glowing halos; but they are human beings who carry out angelic tasks everyday. So I want to take this opportunity to share with you a few of MY angels. I wish I could mention every one of my angels but that's impossible. God has blessed me with many. : )
My Family Are My Angels
My family means so much to me. They have always been there to support me with their unconditional love. I love my parents who have taken care of me all my life. I have a wonderful sister. I have two sets of grandparents in which have spoiled me rotten! I also have a great-grandmother in which I love dearly. I'm glad I was named after her. I have lots of uncles and aunts who I cherish. My aunts have really been there for me. A very good example would be when they bought me a dress to wear to my prom. That really meant allot to me. I have even more cousins; and I adore each one of them. My cousins have been there for me as well. I love being with them. I just hope they know how much I love them all.
The Members of Crossroads
United Methodist Church
Are My Angels
The members of the church have been so giving. Even though I cannot attend, I know that I'm thought of. I know this because I always see my name on the prayer list in the church's newsletters. Every Christmas I receive a gift from the church. That's very special to me.
The Staff of Shrinner's Hospital
Are My Angels
Shrinner's is a hospital for disAbled children, and burned patients. I was a patient from six months until I aged out at the age of 18. I believe they really helped me. I have lots of memories there. I didn't like being in the hospital (who does?) But the two things I liked was getting a bedtime snack, and having the luxury of eating breakfast in bed!
All the people who helped
Me From Pre-K
Through High School
Are My Angels
There were so many people who took part in my education. I will never forget the teachers who taught me. I had lots of aides who helped me throughout my school years. Each year I never wanted a new aide because I grew attached to them. But now I'm glad I was able to have many aides. It gave me the chance to meet some of the world's best. Miss Julia was my Occupational Therapist throughout my school life. I have known her since I was three. She has always told me that I could do anything I set my mind to. That I could do or be anything I could ever dream up.
My Sister, Shelly Is My Angel
My little sister is wonderful, as I have already said. She is unlike any other sister. Because of my disAbility, I depend on her allot. She takes very good care of me. I depend on her for lots of things. When others can't understand my speech, she translates for them. She is able to understand me better than most. It has been this way since we were kids. But yet, she is still like any other sister. We have our fights! We do get on one another's nerves at times! But I guess we wouldn't be true sisters if we didn't! (Sis, I know I don't say "thank yous" enough, but I want you to know I appreciate all you do. I love you.)
My Friend, Ruben is My Angel
I met Ruben my Sophomore Year of high school. He has been a great friend. There are very few guys like him. He was even kind enough to escort me to my Senior Prom. That's when I knew he was a true friend. I loved every second of the prom. It was the first time I felt as an equal to the others -- I too, had a guy by my side. : ) So that meant so much to me. Even though he lives out of town, he calls to check on me. Whenever he comes to town he comes to visit me. He is a very special person who means a lot to me. The love that he gives me is something called true friendship. He has taught me so much about friendship and love. He will always have a piece of my heart.
My Randybob is My Angel
He is very special. We have interesting chats, even when we are chatting about nothing! Seriously though, we have had some special conversations. I'm glad he and my aunt met, because that's how we became friends -- close friends. He does everything he can for me, and always lets me know that he loves me. Oh yeah, he is also my personal computer repair man! I love him very much.
My Net Friends Are My Angels
Since I have been on the net I have met some wonderful people. I love having friends to chat with. My friends have been a blessing to me. I don't get out very much, so I'm glad I have them to talk with. They have been so great and so caring. When something great or exciting happens, I have people to share it with. When I'm not in good spirits I can depend on my net friends to put a smile on my face.
A Special Thanks to My Friend Miro
Miro is one of my net friends. He is the person responsible for helping me put this site together. It was very kind of him to help. So thanks a million Miro!
