Rules



Thank you for coming to the Rules page. The rules for this game are rather simple.



First off, NO CHAOS CHARACTERS! You shall all play the sons or daughters of the Elders, Also you do not get to pick your Parent I get to do that. You can plead, suggest, or bribe,but I still get to choose who your parent is. Now I will discuss this with you and I will listen to your suggestions, but I still will make the final decisions. Please note that there are factions in this Game. with Caine, Julian, Random VS. Brand, Bleys and Flora. Corwin, Benedict and Llewella being unknown factor!


Each character shall start with the Pattern for free and are given 50 points. These points shall be dispered into either ATTRIBUTES, POWERS or KARMA.



Characters are also able to get extra points from doing projects, such as building their own website, creating artwork for this one or perhaps making stories, songs or poems that shall be placed upon this website. These extra points shall be issued once the project are COMPLETED! Not anytime sooner.


ATTRIBUTES: Each character shall have four different attributes those being INTELLIGENCE, STRENGTH, DEXTERITY and ENDURANCE. Below is a brief distinction of what each attribute cover.


INTELLIGENCE : How smart a person is. How they grasp, understand and apply knowledge. The attribute is very important for those who want to excel in POWERS.

STRENGTH : How strong a person is. How they are able to lift, smash or block objects. This is important for someone who wants to excel in hand to hand fighting or brawling.

DEXTERITY : How one is able to perform an athletic feat. How fast , far or high someone can move, jump or hit. This is important for someone who wants to excel in weapon fighting or perhaps even dodging an attack.

ENDURANCE : How much damage one can take, how long someone can perform a task without tiring. This attribute is imporant to those usin physical skills, but it is also important for mental skills too.



POWERS : Please note that everyone starts with the same skill in the Pattern. Also please note that Trumps DO NOT WORK! That doesnt mean that you can not select Trumps as a skill. That skill costs 30 points to be a Trump Artist. But please remember TRUMPS DO NOT WORK. And with that please note that I didnt say that they will NEVER WORK!!! I just said at this point they DO NOT WORK!.


Magic is illegal, punished by imprisionment or death. UNLESS you are sanctioned by the Crown. Also please note that I did not say that you CAN NOT select magic as a POWER you can.. it cost 20 points.
Spell power is decided by your intelligence. who ever has the better intelligence will ususally win MOST battles with Magic. Please note that you must select a college or knowledge or type of magic to use. Rune magic, Tattoo Magic, Water based magic, illusions magic, It doenst matter but you must select before play begins. Also you must have a list of your spells completed before play begins.



NOW let me say this. No one really knows about the Courts of Chaos. Dara and Merlin were the first ones that anyone has ever met from Chaos. Merlin was only at the End of the Patternfall War, where he was introduced as Corwin's son. Merlin remained with Benedict, Corwin and Fiona to speak discuss terms with the Courts... There Really isnt a discussion of what someone from the Courts can due.. well at least not in the Corwin series.....


With that being said. No player will be Chaosian, No Logrus, no nothing... OK? Understand?

Also players can store points in Karma to be used as to hold over for advancments, or to use as a boost during times of crisis.. ( kinda like a re-roll, but we will not be rolling dice.) Once a point of Karma is used it is gone..


Now I am sure you are saying? Well what are we going to do with the Karma points? Well you can increase your POWERS or your ATTRIBUTES.



NEW POWERS will be come out during game play....These NEW Powers could be artifacts or constructs maybe even a bizzare item or two...
