The International Institute of Health, for Treatment, Research and Education is a non profit organization dedicated to enhance collaboration and exchange of knowledge among professionals from other countries, working in the psychiatric and addictive disorder field.
Founded in 1996 by Susana E. Méndez - MD, we have been providing referrals and treatment to patients with Compulsive Disorders (drugs, alcohol), smoking cessation, eating disorders. Since early last year we are offering treatment for chemical dependent adults and adolescents (age 13- 18) and retreats for couples (relationship enhancement) in the beautiful area of Villa Traful, Patagonia-Argentina, where the environment will enhance your recovery , and the team will help you to improve your mental health, decrease addiction to illegal, over the counter and prescription drugs and understand the concept of a life free of physical or emotional pain.TRAINING:We are providing educational sessions to professionals with interest in new ways of treatment for Dual Diagnosis.
Our Staff members are Bilingual Master Level Clinician trained in Acupuncture Detoxification, Hypnosis, Behavior Modification and Recreational Therapy. Our Physicians are also Bilingual Neurologist and Psychiatrist with special interest in Dual Diagnosis Issues.
