On behalf of all the Officers and Advisors of Diablo Valley College’s ALPHA GAMMA SIGMA, we would like to welcome you to our new website. Our Chapter, GAMMA PSI, actively strives to fulfill the four Hallmarks of AGS: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Members plan and participate in a variety of projects to implement the goals and programs of the Society. These programs are designed to give members opportunities for personal growth in all four areas, encouraging students to become balanced individuals.
Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) is the California Community College Honor Society. We are the Gamma Psi chapter of California at Diablo Valley College. The purpose of our organization is to foster, promote, maintain and recognize scholarship. We develop programs offering cultural enrichment and social adventure as part of the total experience of academic life. Our organization promotes service to the community. Through our involvement with the college and interaction with the surrounding community we strive to develope leadership, character, and judgment in fellow students by setting the example.
