Avian Safari is a joint project of Belton Junior High School, Sparta Elementary School, Twin Lakes Audubon Soceity, BELLNET, and BISD Curriculum/Instruction. During the 1998-99 school year students from both schools are videoconferencing, participating in joint Miller Springs birding observations, researching central Texas birds, developing bird lists and internet sources, and presenting their information through this web site and community meetings.
