Ok So I'm feeling rather feisty today and I seriously want to rant. I know I know. You're saying to yourself...didn't that bastard rant just last week? Well yes and now I'm about to do it again. It's almost as if I need to get an oil change or something. I've dirtied my fliter. What I want to talk to you about is the current state of religion in this wacked out country. The idea that we need more than one religion is just plain absurd. Every single religion says the exact same thing, in a metaphorical sense. Peace and love are stressed, murder and being a republican are denounced. The good lord above would probably rather us all just agree to love him and each other than to argue over the particular clique we are attending this week. Unification of religion may seem like a giant step, and agreeably, it is. But it is only because we as human beings choose to make it that way. Honestly, if you read between the lines of every single church doctrine you would find out that we all attend the same mass each and every day. There isn't even a need to GO to church on a sunday because the whole world is your church. Stop acting like a seclusionist and add every single idea and doctrine into your way of thinking. Notice then how you feel, what you're open too and how much love you have for the people around you. Do you think God hates Catholics? Jews? Gays? Trailer-Trash? No. He has an undying love for all of the people on this earth and he urges you to do the same. Yet you cannot give up your hatred and fear until you submerge yourself into the cultures that you don't know about. That my dear friends, takes open mindedness. Not a capacity to point fingers and yell, "YOU DON'T LOOOOK BAPTIST!" It's all in the perception. Open your prayer fields and wish the best for all mankind, not only for those sitting in the pew in front of you. Thank you and God Bless.
